Serve the called and reach the unreached.
YWAM Heidebeek has a focus on Indonesia: we want to reach the unreached and serve those that are involved in doing this.
Working together with YWAM Indonesia we send short-term teams to join their projects and serve their needs. Long-term teams pioneer initiatives to spread the Gospel and start Church Planting Movements (CPM) amongst Least-Reached People Groups.
…look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. - John 4:35b –
17.508 islands, 244.769.000 persons, 79,5% Muslim, world biggest Muslim population, 229 unreached people groups, … Indonesia, a field ripe for harvest. God is moving and reports tell about thousands of people becoming believers! We want to be part of this harvest feast and see the nations reached, you’re welcome to join…!
Our vision for Indonesia is twofold: To Serve the Called and Reach the Unreached.
1. To serve the called
We believe in those people that have followed God’s call to serve on the mission field in Indonesia. They are the laborers in the harvest who are able to bring the harvest in. It is our desire to support and serve those doing this. We have a partnership with YWAM Indonesia and are committed to help them in working out their vision in any way we can.
2. To reach the unreached
There are millions of people in Indonesia that have never had the opportunity to respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our vision to see movements of self multiplying fellowships through which the Gospel reaches each person and the Kingdom of God becomes visible in every aspect of life and society. Currently we focus on an area of 1.1 millions people on the island of Java. We believe the movements can go beyond this region as the Holy Spirit leads.
