Are you a YWAM-er ministering to families or as a family? Have you done an FMS or FFS and
want to deepen your knowledge & skills to work effectively with families, yet you can’t leave
your ministry for 3-5 months to do a UofN school?
With the Online Advanced Family Studies (AFS) we will dive deeper into topics like:

connection!
This school will be run in an online format with a closing intensive. The opening days will be online on 8 & 9 July 2020 (from 8.30am – 5pm CET), please book both days in your calendar. The intensive is planned for June 2021 (location in Europe). The 13 modules will take place over the course of 12 months and require 25 hours each consisting of: self-study, online lectures, assignments, Zoom small group meetings and 1-on-1’s. The online modules will become available each month, starting September 2020.
This school will be registered as 13 seminars with the Extension Studies Center. All modules combined and taken as part of a cohort could* count towards the third level AFS school (FAM 351). This AFS builds on the Foundation for Family Studies (FFS), which is a prerequisite if you are pursuing a degree. We expect you will do outreach and a practicum, details to be confirmed at a later stage.

The cost is much lower than a 3-month onsite training, even though the online AFS compares to a full third level school. The school fees are made up of 2 parts:
This includes all the online modules & UofN registration. This fee is due before you can take part in the opening days (8/9 July 2020).
This includes the housing, food and speakers cost for 10 days. This is due before or upon arrival for the intensive (June 2021)
