On completion of all units of this course you will obtain a Certificate in Discipleship (DSP 211 / 212) from the University of the Nations.
The Discipleship Training School (YWAM-DTS) is a six-month training experience with the central purpose of knowing God and making Him known. It’s an intense, full-time training broken down into two parts, the lecture and outreach phase. It is your first step into missions.
The Lecture Phase is twelve weeks which provide you with the opportunity to grow and learn in many ways. It includes class lectures, small group discussions, assignments, worship and prayer times, evangelism, community life, practical work duties and much more. Speakers from the Netherlands and from abroad will encourage and challenge you to deepen your roots in God through their teaching and testimony.
This DTS is bilingual: English and Dutch.
For the Outreach Phase you will go cross culturally to another country in order to put what you’ve learned into practice. This includes sharing the Gospel through evangelism, teaching and conversations, drama, sports and practical service. Outreach is sharing Jesus with people from a country you’ve probably never been to before.

we went on the street in Brazil with three hundred other enthusiastic Christians. My friend and I asked God if He could to send English speaking people to us. Sure enough ten minutes later there were three English speaking guys who came to us. When we began to speek about faith in God, the Holy Spirit inspired the conversation. He gave us the words so we could answer their questions. God was at work! When we told them that they also could make a choice for God, they became enthusiastic.
