First coming to the Children at Risk school, I had a heart to learn how to work with women in crisis pregnancies and their babies, knowing many of them had come from difficult childhoods themselves. While at Heidebeek, I learned not only more about standing in the gap for these women and babies, but also countless other skills to aid in working with kids from all different kinds of backgrounds and in all different kind of settings, all pointing them to the perfect Father whose heart is for their wholeness and seeing them realize all His plans and dreams for them. The Lord also met me in a whole new way at Heidebeek. I began to know Him more as Abba, I learned more of His heart of grace and mercy for me, a journey that continues to this day. I would recommend the CAR school to anyone who God has passionate with His love for children and who desires to be equipped with the knowledge and tools to intentionally and effectively stand in the gap for these little ones
