Course Description

Call2Worship (C2W) is a short, culturally relevant and intensive training course for worship leaders and teams.  The course content and activities are designed to broaden Biblical foundations, individually equip for leadership, and increase effectiveness in worship and ministry skills.

The course is designed for YWAMers and non-YWAMers involved in worship leadership in local settings.

Course Objectives and Content

• Becoming more Biblically grounded in worship and ministry
• Growing as worshippers and in godly Christian character
• Developing a greater understanding of servanthood and leadership in ministry, including people-leading skills
• Understanding the effectiveness of team ministry
• Gaining insight into God’s call to worship in their nation and learning to release cultural expressions of worship
• Providing opportunities to develop and apply practical worship leading skills as well as songwriting, aptitude in instruments and voice, and creative expressions.

Course values

The C2W invests into individuals with existing worship experience and aims to help them mature in the ministry of worship leading.  The C2W can assist in preparing a YWAM base to host a YWAM School of Worship by helping to establish and develop the worship ministry at the hosting YWAM base.

The Call2Worship course (CCM511) incorporates a variety of international teachers who are able to  teach in a culturally appropriate and relevant manner.
